Many streamers create content to entertain, foster a positive community, and provide a safe space for viewers to relax and have fun. Imagine being at work and having random people behave in such a manner—verbally abusing you or sharing personal dramas as if you were a therapist. [3/4]

Would that be acceptable? I think not

My intention is not to call out any individuals or incite conflict, rather to remind everyone that behind every avatar is a real person deserving of respect. Please keep this in mind and treat streamers with the kindness and consideration they deserve [4/4]

I would like to share some thoughts based on my experience over the past two years of streaming. I've noticed a concerning trend where some individuals believe it is acceptable to behave inappropriately toward streamers, attempt to establish parasocial friendships, [1/4]
