At the @pace.coe.int session, MP @saskiakluit.bsky.social asked the @coe.int Secretary General what he will be doing in the near future to promote the right to a healthy environment.
We need an additional protocol NOW to legally protect the right & protect all other rights from environmental crisis!

This could not be more urgent.

The notion of “just transition” is co-opted by both private actors & States to describe actions that do not respect human rights & the planet.

These only perpetuate business as usual – including in sectors linked to decarbonisation.
