sensory friendly tip! my favorite way to enjoy the day of the big game, is to do my weekly grocery shopping as soon as the football starts - it's so quiet and I can roam the store and get what I need without it being sensory hell 🥺

Omg. So it's the end of the episode and (spoiler) Chuck Norris and Co. kick the shit out of the nazi's, and there's a big burning cross in front of a church, and the last scene of the show is people praying, and wind starts blowing really hard and it blows out the cross.

I see a lot of Rockford Files and Magnum PI... and based on the ads, over the air tv is 1000% for old people. Every ad is for life insurance, joint supplements, and dumb trump memorabilia. Apparently there's a trump version of the Billy Bass talking fish. It's fucking absurd.

I have a small TV that I didn't use for years. But at some point, I realized that I could get an antenna and pick up local channels. So I got an antenna for $12 and now I get a handful of channels for free. It's soothing background noise. A lot of the channels show reruns constantly.

YO the coolest thing is happening right now. Thread incoming: so, I'm old and don't have a lot of money, I also don't really care much about TV. I have no streaming services and haven't watched any of the popular series. I'll throw a youtube documentary playlist on sometimes as background noise...
