Before that, I had it on DVD. It was a set full of exploitation flicks. I probably watched a small portion of them. Some were pretty unwatchable.
I still have a couple Welcome to the Grindhouse dvds—I think... 😅 Superchick is probably my favorite of the bunch.

I feel like movies like Kill Bill and Grindhouse are triggers that got me into these movies. Approaching them as a queer person can be interesting. Especially the ones that can bend in that direction. Sadly the queer ones I've seen tend to end badly for the queer protagonists.

I don't agree that he should've gotten an Oscar, but it's amazing the performance he gave considering he had to go through psychological discipline (ie: someone came in to teach him how to indure torture) to deal with the heavy makeup. But yeah... To say it was Oscar worthy is hilarious.
