Now I have a full set. 🥰 I had so much fun making these!
Chili, the mom from Bluey squinting. All four family members from Bluey: Mum, Dad, Bingo, and Bluey!

Oof. 🥴

Though I had similar feelings about Angela Lansbury's passing. It saddened me, but I still remember her weird stance on women getting sexually harassed.

Aw! 🥰

I love the Tiki Room!

I even did a Tiki Room bound. 🥰

Even with special ears! 🥰

Maybe not BEST, but I really like Red Eye.

What do you think is Wes Craven’s best film that isn’t part of the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET or SCREAM franchises?

I feel like everyone will have a different answer and that’s really interesting to me.

I get like that too. 😅 Though one of mine reached out to let me know it's mutual. 🥹

I don't know how those WWW/Elphaba ornaments survive with that pose. I've seen so many figurines like that break because of that configuration. 😅

RIP to Diane Keaton, who wasn't only brilliant in The First Wives Club, but hands down gave the best performance in The Godfather films and was the heart of the entire saga, I said what I said.

One of his funniest cameos too. 😅

I'd be more excited for the He-Man movie if he wasn't part of it. 😭

I wanna support it for Nicolas Galitzine though. 🥺 Ugh. I feel conflicted because I hate JL.

I mean, Goldie Hawn would gut me just as much, but still. 😭

In my mind I'm like:

Ebony Scrooge: Not Bette Midler!

I'm still thinking about the way sex work is satirized in this movie. It's peak satire. Also? This movie is weirdly feminist.

I find Frank Henenlotter's work to be very queer, even it's not inherently so.

This and Brain Damage especially.

While watching Frankenhooker the other night, parts of it had me thinking of The Substance—which I could see it taking inspiration from in part. The body horror aspects especially. There are some sex worker mutants that are all boobs in some cases. 😅

Body horror and satire are such a great combo.

there is no god when Diane Keaton dies before Woody Allen does

People tend to think of Diane Keaton in Annie Hall, but The First Wives' Club is my favorite of her movies.

I think the only other thing I'd seen him in (aside from GWTW) was Of Human Bondage. 😅 I'm curious to check him out as Henry Higgins.

The way they can open Berlin tomorrow and it would be packed from wall to wall for months. Like we not seeing the big picture here!

I love the NOES movies.

Kristen in part 3 is eating coffee grounds straight and chasing it with Diet Coke. 😅

Been reading the ARC. I'm nearly done, but part of me feels bad about being late with my review. It's been a rough week. 🥺

"Coven of the Elder Blossom; Elder Blossom Book One" book cover. Green speech bubble with a 5-star review from Daisy Deely (arc reader). Daryl/Author logo in green.

Text: A welcoming invite towards non-linear time, Marez eases the reader into a balance of playful imagination mixed with tensions of isolation and belonging, self-centeredness and other-focus, harmony and chaos. Liberation claws its way through the shadows to the warmth of daylight via trusting friendships forged in mutual benefit, strengthened in shared anguish–how do we make meanings with the past for clarity in queer futurity, from both blood and chosen ancestors? Spellbinding, I’m wholly entranced.
