Stranger Things 5 Dustin is such an asshole. Yes, I get they're trying to show the impact of his trauma but the writing isn't up to the task of making that compelling so he's just deeply unpleasant to watch. Just, fuck that guy. Steve was right to say everything he did.

tbh this is one of Several reasons why I keep saying that #TheTraitors is subtle anti-copaganda. It repeatedly underlines how easy it is for prejudice or random chance to lead to suspicion which leads to stressed people incriminating themselves when they haven't done anything.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that in raising awareness of unconscious bias, #TheTraitors makes you wonder how fair the system of trial by jury really is for minorities.

So far what's annoyed me most about Stranger Things 5 is "I Think We're Alone Now". If you are going to reuse a song that another Nextflix show (The Umbrella Academy) used so ingeniously it is forever defined by it now, you'd better do it in a more memorable way than that snooze of a montage.

Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:
