Re: Michelle Yeoh, there is a grand tradition of characters in Broadway musicals played by non-singers. There are classic shows headlined by people who can't sing. Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady, Yul Brynner in The King and I... And Morrible isn't the lead and doesn't even have a full song. Calm down.

The thing about Wicked is that I am a veteran of the BWW message boards and the great "Avenue Q v. Wicked" wars of 2004 and so I keep forgetting that not everyone is as intimately familiar with the show as I am, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that Wicked is immune to critical opinion

I watched the Wicked: One Wonderful Night concert special tonight and now I'm even more worried about my emotions watching For Good tomorrow because just this literally had me sobbing. What do you mean seeing Cynthia do The Wizard and I live on stage alone made me bawl? RIP Me, in advance.

It shouldn't matter but let me point out that I was born a woman, my passport says woman, and based on how I look I have a high risk of not being let into a bathroom
(my only saving grace is being short).
