Walk into a bank where you don’t have an account, walk out with startup capital?

Sounds impossible.

But we did it. Some times you just have a to want it bad enough.

Here’s what we did. First, we learned where the bank manager lived.
Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

I think Democrats should double down on trans rights now. It's obvious that most voters don't care about it so you might as well stick with your principles and goad Republicans into focusing on it at the expense of everything else so they're the ones who look like freaks.

I can see how this happens (and it's not ChatGPT only). I created a 'junk' profile on Perplexity, Claude and ChatGPT, and fed them a story of how I cannot get over a difficult breakup. The LLMs correctly identified a depression episode and potential life-endangering tendencies, then nurtured them.

This is awful, and it's really important that it's being reported on.

At the same time, it's almost impossible to get to the actual journalism because USA Today is shoving their own chatbot at you (pic in next post).

>>
“After having extensive conversations with ChatGPT about his depression and suicidal ideation, ChatGPT still provided Joshua with information on how to purchase and use a gun, according to the court complaint reviewed by USA TODAY.”
He told ChatGPT he was suicidal. It helped with his plan, family says.
A lawsuit against OpenAI claims that Joshua Enneking, 26, was coached into suicide by ChatGPT after confiding in the chatbot for months.

I was actually trying to read the article, but had to scroll past & work to avoid any stray clicks landing on this:

I'm trying to read the damn article, which presumably has answers to those questions, which I can find by ... reading the article.

This is the funniest piece imaginable in the dull world of the otherwise sickly sycophantic tech review.

For real. Read it, even if you don’t give a rat’s ass about printers.

There's a guy in my area who served jail time for sexually abusing a child. In theory this is grounds for being kicked off Facebook but multiple people submitted his account info and a link to the court case and they ignored it.

MSP folks: I have a question about the Bro-Tex raid from someone who works at a different manufacturing facility. When ICE showed up, did they come through the front door, through the back door/loading dock, or through both at once?

If we had to hear “Baby Shark” everywhere we went for two whole months out of the year we’d throw a fit, right?

And rightfully so.

So tell me, why do we put up with it when the song is “Frosty the Snowman”?

No, he isn’t. There is literally no legal means by which he can do this. It’s not presidential power. TPS by law cannot be terminated early, and Somali TPS is not set to expire until March 17, 2026.
Trump says he’s ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somali refugees in Minnesota “immediately.”

I literally think Mamdani went “you know, there was actually a President so popular that people kept electing him more than two terms” and Trump was like no way tell me how he did it
Trump posts:

“It was a Great Honor meeting Zohran Mamdani, the new Mayor of New York City!”

He included multiple photos of Mamdani in front of the portrait of FDR that Mamdani spoke with Trump about during his visit.

I love how many theories on that Mamdani-Trump meeting are leaning into D&D lore

I like the "failed his saving throw against Charm Person" theory.
Every clip I've watched has been more insane than the last - this one's particularly remarkable because when asked "why do you think there's been more excitement around this meeting" Trump responds with a long monologue about how great and remarkable ZOHRAN is - not one single word about himself.
I think this clip is the key to understanding why Trump acted the way he did with Mamdani. His world revolves around TV ratings.

"I tell you, the press has eaten this thing up."
