There’s an interview going around about AI, so before there are any questions, let me state unequivocally that BLACK PHONE 2 is 100% organic. AI was not used at any stage of the filmmaking from idea generation, research, look books, writing, onscreen images - anything. We’re old school and love it.

Twitter is how I got all of my pro writing jobs, it's where I met so many wonderful souls, started a relationship or 3, met amazing friends, made business contacts, & earned a readership/listenership. It was hard to watch that site transform into something dangerous; now I'm on here, insta, threads.

Caught ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER in 70mm IMAX & it played even better the 2nd time. We can breathe & roll with the laughter easier & seeing it with an audience roaring in laughter is such a joy. The Western showdown is incredible but I especially love the inventive escape sequence w/ Benicio del Toro

One of the more incredible stories out of LA this year has been how a taco review blog became the best on-the-ground coverage of ICE raids in the city.

They do a dispatch every day, follow-up on the kidnapped people (which almost no media outlet has done), and fact-check government claims.

Kicked off my weekend by being an ER pincushion; looks like I'm in another bad autoimmune flare. They're painful, intense, & worsening & the only way to deal with this much b.s. is to find little things to laugh at like having fevers of unknown origin obv means that I'm just scientifically super hot
