Agreed! You could read it to mean “are you gonna stay even if I hurt you?” but I read it as “will you hold me accountable for your safety & well-being, even if I threaten that?” Love is wanting for someone what they want for themselves, even when it’s not You.

Man. In my insignificant opinion, we know what Love is, but sometimes, we can lose sight of how much Love is offering of ourselves beyond our personal desires. Love makes self sacrifice both a joy and a duty, and when we look at it like in lines like below, it changes the perspective, to me

I’m unnerved by anything with more than four legs. At 4yo, I was traumatized by a night trip to the beach to view a horseshoe crab migration. They look like monsters, it was dark & they were EVERYWHERE. (I just realized this is the source of my xenomorph fixation.)

Arachnophobia is interesting to me because it's so specific. Like, people generally aren't afraid of crabs, even though they're hairy and skitter around. And they're not afraid of bugs, even though they have about the same number of eyes. Most people will never even see a dangerous spider irl.
