I love the #ThursdayMurderClub books, I really do, but namechecking Pierce Brosnan as the character Ron’s favourite James Bond, in the latest book seems a bit self-indulgent. Ron is played by Pierce Brosnan in the movie adaptation of the first book. It was really jarring to come across it.
