I don’t have the manual any more. I suspect it got lost in two moves in quick succession a bit over five years ago. It’s probably online though. Hopefully it will defrost overnight and a fridge mechanic can come and have a proper look at it for me.

Yes, it probably is that. It's happened before that it hasn't closed properly but I noticed quickly. Suspect I did not notice this time 🫣

Thank you. It does have a bit of a dodgy seal I think, either that or I haven't closed it properly sometimes? Weirdly, the fridge part beeps if the door is open for a while but not the freezer.

Fortunately, nothing too difficult to lose in the freezer but there is some stuff in the fridge. It may be okay if I don’t open it, same as in a power cut. Cross your fingers for me!

Managed to move the fridge and turn off the power. Hopefully local fridge dude will get back to me tomorrow. Bloody hell. Wasn’t expecting this! 😖

Oh damn. That's going to be fun trying to move my fridge out of the small cavity it's in! But leaving the freezer door open is the right thing to do yes? Also, thank you

So, I hadn't opened my freezer for a few days. I just opened it and this is what I found. No idea what to do. Have left the door open and put a towel on the floor. Have messaged a local fridge repair dude but not heard back. Do I need to turn my fridge off at the power?

The freezer section of the bottom mount fridge with the door open and it is all iced over!
