The water birds are back! I've been looking out every day since the storm and it was so quiet. #firstbirdoftheday were this group of ducks when the tide was in, floating black silhouettes bunched together against the bright silver of the Tay.
A group of seven ducks standing in shallow silvery blue water, pecking down to find food. Towards the top of the picture the water turns gold as it reflects the golden colour of the reed beds you can just see.

Two small birds perched in a cotoneaster tree laden with bright red bunches of berries. The birds are dark brown on top with with speckled cream breasts and red underwings. One of the redwings has a red berry in its beak.
