1st page: Hey y'all! This is a request for support for the Queer Somali mutual aid group that myself and two others run. We're overwhelmed with the amount of work we're taking on and need 1-2 folks to offload some of it. We're seeking 1-2 other Black people to help with research, social media, and/or administrative tasks. Some examples of what you might be doing: - Looking up international Queer migrant support organizations and initiatives - Helping start our social media account - Help brainstorm fundraising ideas - Some administrative tasks (less frequent) This is approx 3/4 hours of work per week, and we meet once a week over video chat. We want to make it clear that this is unpaid work, because all the money we fundraise goes to Queer and Trans people who are in need. sometimes you and your boss can make a piece together and it makes you "i like that, but what if i made another piece so intentionally that it looks like i fucked up but i definetly didnt?"
anyway heres an apple me and my boss made and a snake eating a tennis ball.
a seethrough glass apple with turquoise and green swirls inside of it, held up to the light. it is being held by a lightskinned hand in front of the cardboard box it was stored in. the apple is being held by someone sitting in the front seat of a car. a failed attempt at a glass apple, which does sort of end up looking like an abstract snake eating a tennis ball, being held up to the light. it has blue and green swirls in it, as well as lots of little bubbles. it is being held by a lightskinned hand in the front seat of a car.
