2025 was a pretty solid year. Business is up 20%, family and friends are healthy and happy. I spent time outside, hiking with the pup, nearly every day.

I’ve played over 400 hours of Cyberpunk and have yet to complete the story. I get a

I’m getting so tired of the political discourse in this country. It’s a constant battle and full of hatred. Can we just be Americans and appreciate everyone?
Most folks have a difference of opinion. Not a difference of morality. But the media and politicians have pushed everyone to the extremes.

I’m glad people are enjoying Marathon. It’s fine for people to have fun with games I don’t particularly like. And honestly, it seems like it’ll be fairly popular in the long run.
But my overall feeling on the game is just “meh.”

I literally just watched someone make the argument against global warming by saying, there’s no way we could know the Earth is getting warmer because thermometers weren’t invented until about 300 years ago. So it could have been warmer before that and we there was no way to know…

He was from New Jersey a thousand miles from me. One day, we played our last game together, even though we didn't know it would be.
I often think about him and hope he's doing well.

Monster Hunter Wilds is pretty fun. But trying to play with friends is a nightmare. Especially if you were expecting to be able to play the story with friends (you mostly can't). It's 2025... Grouping up in a AAA game shouldn't feel more antiquated than the old GameSpy days...

Despite all the negative feelings about Trump and all the political nonsense going on, this has been the best January and February I've had in a long time. Life is generally pretty good. I have a lot to be thankful for and not much to stress about.
