i don’t think there was a clear path to victory for Kamala, but this is very simply not how politics works. people do not exist in a singular space on a political spectrum like this. if this theory of politics were correct, moderate Democrats would win every election.
The simple replies that indicate Harris should have moved further to the left if she wanted the progressive vote ignores the incredibly obvious: the further she moved to the left the more people on the center and right she would have lost.
