Update: so far I've exchanged the hdd for an ssd and the i5 for an i7, and it is a lot faster than before. The next step is to hackintosh Mojave from High Sierra, and then, maybe Big Sur
So the plan is to upgrade the hardware on my imac, then trunk it into a hackintosh. If that doesn't work I'll just use Linux lol
