Noticing the right-wing furor about Superman. Strange how 'wokeness' is just an alias of humanity. Superman's a great example of someone so far-removed (Krypton's native son, hello) yet embraces and fights for the best bits of humanity regardless of judgement. Also, co-created by a Canadian. 🇨🇦

First, Google and their Nest, now this. How do we, as consumers, protect ourselves from their planned/unplanned obsolescence? There should be a #StopKillingSmarthomes movement. Thanks, Google and Nest for adding to e-waste.

Belkin has announced that it is ending support for most of its Wemo smart home products. Customers will lose access to the Wemo app, any features that rely on cloud connectivity, customer support, and more. It’s effectively the end of the Wemo smart home brand.

Reading about EC and Apple in the news and strikes me that EC is basically Better Way Electronics in telling Apple to figure it out.

Started PoE2 right before holidays and Balatro not long after. I think I’ve sunk more hours into the latter. While PoE2 is fun, the Balatro grind seems more satisfying.
