Now out on bioRxiv. 🥳My research on #cytokinesis, averaging thousands of #ExM images🔬, creating a dynamic atlas of cytokinesis 🦠⏳. Here's an animated sneak peek of what we found. Better resolution on bioRxiv😄 #PSFoftheGIF

Ok, hear me out, here's the plan:
Meme with a quasi bryologist disaproving of early land plants agenda, but quite liking early mars plants idea, since mosses are amongst organisms that should be able to colonize mars.

Really tried to get to the root of our problem during the lab meeting today.

But then I realized that we work on mosses, and roots are exclusive to euphyllophytes, so it's kind of alright.

This is how worm people cast their imaging molds. Consider me (i) jealous and (ii) full of questions #DevBio 🧪

Looks interesting and cool topic too!
What I kind of don't understand is how this is PPB-independent? If trm678 have more 4WJ, there is direct effect on avoidance phenomenon, no?

Soo the actin-depleted zone during the cell division is not a thing anymore?

Thank you, definitely putting to my must read list! Have you also tried to put this collinearity test outside of Bryopsida (let's say Takakia, Sphagnum, or Marchantia)?

"We found an arabidopsis mutant developing stomata on the roots!"

Not buying it? Eggcellent! What you actually see is a horn of the hornwort Anthoceros agrestis (and what you read was probably my favorite 1st April joke we did in the lab).
Z-stack photo of an Anthoceros agrestis sporophyte with stomata all along the structure.

Just stopping by to say that Peter Klucik is Slovak illustrator. Glad you came across his work, which I think is super cool!

Explaining this to the Gymnosperms all the time. They are the group that took this higher vs lower plants competition too much seriously

Meaning: Scientists are doing their investigative work, which should ideally resault in a publication. Strangely enough, when journals want to publish their work, scientists will gather quite large sum of money and pay the journal instead, probably as a sign of appreciation.
