Logged onto Facebook for local update after storm and my god, it's actually a broken website. Zero relevant posts from friends, days/weeks old posts from Pages I don't follow. AI slop everywhere. Even linear navigation is broken - click into a post, go back - you're on an entirely different feed?

Word of the day is one I mention often. To have the ‘mubble-fubbles’, in the 16th century, was to experience a fit of despondency or low spirits - another name for the Sunday blues.

Incredible, but it's a testament to UX and trust.
Despite a massive head start, BlueSky has now overtaken Threads in the US 👇

Fine Gael need to get better at shouting about these housing figures on a regular basis. SF would have you believe they're building tent villages #ge24 #LeadersDebate

People who WANT TO reduce emissions can't because there isn't a viable alternative! You have to make public transport the attractive, functional option. #ge24 #LeadersDebate

Roderic, local links are useless window dressing. Look at the timetables. They run 4 times a day taking 2 hours for a 30 minute journey. It's not fit for purpose. #ge24 #LeadersDebate

Spend windfall money on public transport - encourage decentralisation from Dublin & remote work - in turn relieves housing pressure, revitalises "rural" areas, helps climate goals. It makes sense! #ge24 #LeadersDebate

Fair play to Simon Harris for challenging emotive prose with actual facts and figures

End 100 years of government that took us from "the sick man of Europe" to a global power? Cop on RBB #LeadersDebate

It's because many of the people who voted for them believe that someday, they could somehow sit at that table too. But you won't. It's a big club and you ain't in it.
I will never understand how a billionaire, the richest man on Earth, spent millions to buy an election for ANOTHER billionaire, and told us that his policies would cause all of us non-billionaires “temporary hardship...”

...and the public didn't tell BOTH OF THEM to fuck off.
