Obsessive writer, "Mimi" of seven, and darned good whole-foods cook. I enjoy coupling my interest in child-nurturing and mental health with politics. In a former life, I was a newspaper journalist and remedial reading teacher.
Love "Empathy as a weapon." Dr. Allan Schore of UCLA is an authority on right-brain development in infants - the social emotional brain, where empathy begins. Check out his Norway lectures on YouTube. I just posted a link to a blog article of mine on this topic. familyfieldguide.com/2015/07/26/t...

No offense intended. It was really his superciliousness and self-righteousness, that I wanted to point out. I should be more precise.

My comment was intended to be satirical. At any rate, Johnson isn't Catholic - a correction I made to subsequent commenters.

Waste, fraud, and abuse.

I previously posted that I stand corrected. Johnson does not profess to be Catholic.

I stand corrected: I must have been thinking of JD Vance. According to an interview in www.deseret.com, "Johnson is currently a member of the Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Baptist Message..." www.deseret.com/2023/10/30/2...

I stand corrected. He has long been a member of Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana. Whatever his religion, he's a modern pharisee.

I wonder if he had life insurance.

Unsure of your meaning. Please continue.

What if there had been ten "watcher" cars following the agents? Would they have had 100 more agents show up? ICE's mere presence is a threat to everyone.

Is America great yet?

I can't imagine the process of filing an auto insurance claim against ICE. We were hit by a Safeway semi-truck's tire tread on I-25. Our insurance company couldn't figure out how to get back our deductible from the company, because the driver was a contractor. My husband did the research himself.

He hasn't got the huevos to admit wrongdoing. He's a weak, sick man.

I just contacted Rep. Jeff Hurd's office. Why were all those Grand Junction HS athletes not allowed to compete on Saturday? Because they joined in the walk-out on Friday in solidarity with the nationwide protests against ICE. Bad stuff. www.gjsentinel.com/news/western...
GJHS student-athletes suspended over ICE protests
Student-athletes at Grand Junction High School were held out of athletic competition Saturday as a result of their participation in a student-led walkout on Friday.

What the GOP is saying, is that they're okay with government jobs in which employees must violate others' Constitutional rights, but not government jobs in which employees help people.
