Now, more than ever, Londoners from all communities must stand together, show allyship to our Jewish friends and neighbours, and be united in our rejection of hatred.

In the wake of the heinous terrorist attack at Heaton Park Synagogue, I know many in London’s Jewish community will be feeling afraid. My thoughts are with the families of Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz at this terrible time.

Places of worship should be sanctuaries and safe havens for all. No one should feel scared to attend their synagogue, church, mosque, gurdwara or temple.

As we head into the weekend, there will be increased police presence in and around synagogues across the capital.

Our Jewish communities must be able to live and worship free from the fear of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or violence. The fact they cannot do so is utterly unacceptable.

It is clear that there is much more to do to rid our society of the poison of antisemitism, and we must redouble our efforts to stamp out this vile hatred wherever it rears its ugly head.

Now, more than ever, Londoners from all communities must stand together, show allyship to our Jewish friends and neighbours, and be united in our rejection of hatred.

Waking up to hear the names of the two people murdered by in the Manchester synagogue. I am horrified by this antisemitic attack on such a Holy Day.

I stand with our local synagogue and the Jewish community and the PM in grief and in condemning this attack.

Good news! I met the management of Queen Mary’s Hospital today and they confirmed that the Minor Injuries/Enhanced Primary Care Hub will NOT be closing.

In last week’s debate on unsafe cosmetic procedures, I spoke about my constituent Jan and the PIP breast implant scandal.

Up to 47,000 women in the UK are affected, many still live with health problems and unanswered questions.

We need urgent action and accountability.
