One of the best ever in 70MM
If you watch the entire short, Sinatra goes on to refer to the Japanese as Japs. Seems like somewhat of a downer to me.
Watching Sinatra’s 1945 short, where he asks a pack of boys if they’re Nazis. Those kids were taught to reject hate, yet too many of their real life counterparts grew up defending the cruelty their fathers died fighting. Eighty years on, the faces change; the hate doesn’t. Stand up. Speak up.
