Labour claims they are ‘consulting’ with disabled people about the proposed changes to Universal Credit & Personal Independent Payments, but... -It is not a public event -Very few people can attend -Disabled people's orgs are not invited -Tickets were inaccessible -It is being held at an unknown location -The ‘consultation’ is only on half of the proposed changes. York Station Gateway: where I’m taking the photo is where the new bus stops will be. Better for everyone we are told. Not if walking is difficult, painful and tiring as you will have an additional 100m to walk.
