Ah, right. I meant your #3 and #4 hitters but got it wrong in my head as I was thinking of my reply. Oops.
Diaz hurts as there's not someone of his caliber available right now. Not sure how they replace the others but maybe there are some deals to be made. We'll see

His numbers say he'll be a productive hitter for at least the next few years. I'm not sure what the thinking is here other than to boot the season and rebuild. Hard to replace your two best hitters and your closer with what's available.

People will fly in from the South, Midwest and Canada to see shows here. We get people driving and taking the train from neighboring states. So they're not just selling tickets to people in NY but from many states. They really need a better booking agent because a 1,500 seat venue is way too small.

The issue is that they keep choosing venues that are way too small. Town Hall is a beautiful venue but it only seats 1,500 people. They've done this every time they've come here for a show of some kind. They should be booking Radio City which seats 6k.

In the future check out the hotels in Long Island City. They should be much more affordable and you'll be one stop from Manhattan and a short ride to most areas of the city.

I never understood this. Are we not supposed to look around and up and enjoy the city we live in? We walk all over the place here so why not look up and see the beautiful architecture that's all around us.

You adjust the walk to suit the weather but they have to get out to use the bathroom at a minimum. Most people in the city don't have any outdoor space like a backyard so nowhere for the dogs to go. On bad weather days you keep it short, let them do their business and then play with them inside.

The biggest downsides are the lack of time off as you can't really call in sick if it's just you doing the walks and being outside and caring for the dogs in extreme weather like high heat/freezing cold/heavy rain and snow.
I left a good job in an ER in Brooklyn to do this and I'm so much happier

I'm a dog walker in NYC. I run my own business and while I don't make $200k a year I do well enough to live here comfortably. Many walkers are making $30 an hour and that's per dog so if you do more than one at a time that starts to add up to real money.

Health insurance is a major issue and a huge problem for Americans but it was completely ignored by @1010wins.bsky.social for the light story they wanted to tell instead of the whole story.
I expect so much better from them and others. Maybe I shouldn't anymore.
