A few hundred metres from the Goasseac'h cairn, which I excavate every year, a very well-preserved Bronze Age settlement has been excavated over the last two years by INRAP. Unfortunately, except for two pits, there is no feature directly associated with the Middle Neolithic period.

In the Middle Neolithic of Ireland's Boyne Valley, passage graves were superseded by more open circular enclosures. Circular 'proto-henge' monuments developed in southern Britain shortly after. Were they inspired by interaction across the Irish Sea? 🏺

The lost medieval cloister of Carhaix (Brittany, France) has finally been found at the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City. It had been sold in 1930 to an unknown destination in the United States. Congratulations to Anne Derrien-Esnault and @inrap.fr for their hard work.
