I'm doing a last min booked day sit with a gorgeous rescue named Ellie Belly...and outside the windows facing the Puget Sound, a bald eagle perched, then flew right in front of the windows when I sat to eat breakfast soaking in the view.

Good early morning. The sun hasn't even thought to rise behind the dark firs and darkness fills in each window.
But out in the distance even with cabin windows closed, the great horned owls sing to each other.

Little Christmas tree I found for my sister who lives up the road in a log cabin. I'll surprise her, she doesn't put one up I noticed, and this one looked jolly sitting at the Island Lumber store.
