Healthcare workers who refuse to mask for patients are putting their own politics & perceived comfort above the literal life of another person.

You know if they believed the patient was a risk to them, they would have an N95 on in a hurry.

Wear the mask. Its the right thing to do

It’s 2025… can we start masking in hospitals this year?

Can we stop insinuating that hospital acquired covid is “inevitable” or that those who die were going to “die anyways”?

Can we call it what it is? An epic failure of infection control to protect those who put their lives in your hands:
A Plea to Maskless Healthcare Workers from Vulnerable Patients
If you see a mask - wear a mask. Better yet - wear a mask all the time and show us you understand that we're still IN a pandemic. We are depending on you to keep us safe - please don't betray that.

This should be front page news. 70% of patients requiring the hospital for Covid CAUGHT it in healthcare.

That’s an alarming amount of completely preventable hospitalizations.

Healthcare settings know how to stop spread.

Clean air & mandatory respirators. Forcibly infecting patients is wrong 🧵/1
