Today's lunch: galette with a whole-wheat walnut–rosemary crust, homemade labneh, and cherry tomatoes. Such a perfect marriage of flavors.

Labneh is a thick, tangy Middle Eastern yogurt cheese and making it from scratch is totally worth it (and so easy!)

My usual bakes are sweet treats, but today I experimented with savory! These pizza pinwheels turned out ridiculously good, even though I freestyled the inclusions! They're perfect for lunch, an appetizer, or a midnight snack. And so easy to make!

Although the recipe is called "Pizza Barese" it's technically more like Focaccia; a thick, spongy, regional specialty from Puglia in Southern Italy.

My first Panettone... didn’t quite pan out 😅. Made Lieveto Madre that seemed very active. Great gluten in the first dough, but none in the second... even after 50 mins mixing! Ended up baking it like a cake 🤷‍♀️. Any #Panettone bakers on here that can help me pinpoint what went wrong?

The infamously fussy Canelé! 🤯 They aren't perfect because I'm using a regular non-stick tin, not the required, heat-conducting copper molds (the secret to that deep, crunchy crust). But who cares? One bite, and I'm instantly bringing Paris to my home 🇫🇷.
