I love Minnesota and my intention is to run for United States Senate and continue to serve the people of this state. I’ll make a formal announcement later this month. In the meantime, I’m talking with community and my family and friends. I will have more to say soon.

Telling the world that those getting laid off in Feb are considered low performers then telling workers they'll get sev if they stay till then is pretty cruel. Stay & you get paid but future employers know Meta labeled you as a low performer. Even job searching now creates Qs to employers.

Just saw a no-longer relevant evacuation notice on instagram from five hours ago and remembered — that’s right, due to hyper-monetization every major social network no longer shows you life-saving breaking news as it happens.

My Bluesky experience after two weeks:
I have 8,000 followers here compared to 64,000 on Twitter, yet engagement — reposts, likes, clicks — is similar and at times higher.
Some of that is surely enthusiasm for newness, but it also suggests much of Twitter's ecosystem is bots or abandoned accounts.

I think this app was bound to take off after Elon made it much harder to view quote tweets (which came after he prioritized paid subscribers in the replies), & changing the block feature. Don't know how big this platform will get, but it's now viable
