I'll end up with 79 books read in 2024. My goal was 72 or 22,000 pages. I was helped out by Covid in January and then a bout of long covid for three months in late summer. Fun! Not seen in this picture is my discovering Pat Conroy, Chelsea Bieker, Lili Anolik, and my continued love for Tell Me One Thing by Kerri Schlottman (a thankful second edition produced in 2024). Kerri also pointed the way to some works of fiction I would have missed. Next year? More H.W. Brands in non-fiction, the rest of Pat Conroy's books, and, why not, more McMurtry.
