Iowa tried to win a game by playing decent for about 7 minutes. Unfortunately, games are 40 minutes long. This sucks because winning road games in the BIG is really hard. This was a winnable road game.

Indiana just doesn't make mistakes. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only mistake the Hoosiers have made this year was the late INT that Mendoza threw against Iowa that should have led to their only loss. Unfortunately, a missed FG and a broken tackle on a pass sent IU to a win 😞

Made it until the 2nd half today before I'm forced to remind everyone that the officiating in women's basketball is a complete travesty. There is no universe in which Stremlow committed an offensive foul on that play.

Great effort tonight. I was hoping the Hawks would be competitive tonight, and they were. The difference: Iowa was 3-5 from the line, Clones were 17-23.

Miles Simon mentioned JR Koch and the iowa team he played on that had Koch, Andre Woolridge, Jess Settles and others. It was a good squad (Iowa's last S-16 team 🙁). Kugler responded: "Jess Settles played for Iowa for 12 years." 🤣🤣

Just in case anyone was wondering if officiating in women's basketball has improved, it hasn't. This Iowa-Iowa State game is epic in the incompetence of the zebras.

The CFB calendar is an absolute mess. Clearly it's time for all US universities to do the right thing and completely change their academic schedule to accommodate college football.

So the Eagles were down 15 and scored to make it 24-15. Then they went for 2 and didnt get it so by scoring a touchdown the Eagles turned a 2 score game into a 2 score game. The analytics are just wrong on that and there is no way it will ever right. Just stupid.

Not sure why Holgerson didnt give it to Johnson there. If you're running the ball, give it to the guy who has had success. Johnson is a player.
