If you get caught in 4K driving like a madman you should get the privilege of watching your car get crushed in front of you

At some point a throwaway, distracted "have we met?" from Blanc to a Noah Segan bit character would be perfect

Our one very close call with missing a flight was right after we switched to Android way back in the day, and Samsung in its infinite wisdom made Do Not Disturb settings also silence alarms by default

This is one area where voice assistants have been a big help for me, since "wake me up at six tomorrow" seems to get consistently interpreted correctly vs relying on me noticing the am/pm toggle. Glad you made your flight!

This might seem absolutely ridiculous but I wonder if you could get someone to modify an invisible fence shock collar to make a loud noise instead of an electric shock

That's a good question, and the answer is probably with some research and trial and error. And you have until the end of January to return them to Amazon if not!

I haven't used Meshtastic (yet) but I've heard good things!
December 9, 2025 at 9:40 PM
They use a low power, long range radio protocol to create a mesh wireless network. So as long as your unit can connect to at least one of your kids' units, and their units can connect to each other, you *should* be able to get their GPS locations as needed.

Still confusing, but one is 9105 (V-Flex) and one is 9205 (Aura).
December 9, 2025 at 9:19 PM
9210s are my second choice, but the "duck bill" 9105 is an order of magnitude more breathable (though the rubber band straps aren't ideal).
December 9, 2025 at 8:47 PM
3M 9105 hands down. Very goofy looking but comfy and very very breathable. 9105s is also available for smaller faces.
