You'd think we'd have stories in the news about all those sacrificial killings on Halloween. I subscribe to a major newspaper and read a lot of news (probably more than is good for me!) online, but I've never seen a story about that. Don't people report their loved ones missing? 🤷‍♀️

That isn't as funny to someone who had to be given 2 units of blood in the ER due to undetected internal bleeding! (It turned out to be 2 ulcers—idiot doctors and nurses all kept asking me when the pain started and why didn't I come in sooner. I had to keep insisting I NEVER HAD ANY PAIN from them!)

This is how dictatorships gain absolute power: when fear drives self-censorship.

Two other current examples: WaPo and the ADL. Both are changing the information they present to be less confrontational to the current head of government because of fear. And now this. That's how freedom is lost.

Yep, that's her primary concern. That's why she's willing to buck the leadership. I've seen that happen SO many times. There was a congress critter who was extremely homophobic – then his son came out as gay, and needed to visit his partner in the hospital, and all of a sudden that was OK. 🤯

I was about to quote the same sentence but with a different comment.

It's more than just indifference—it's straight up eugenics. Having weak people die off improves the race (🙍🏻). That's a *good* thing in their eyes. That's what's behind the anti-vax push—they *want* the weak (especially🙍🏾) to die.

Your post made me decide to put an extra mask in my purse in case I need one and need another to give someone. I have a recent order so I have plenty, it weighs nothing to speak of, and the 3M Aura I use folds flat so there's no problem having an extra. Thanks for your post that gave me the idea.

I carry an N95 in my purse at all times, even if I'm not planning to be indoors. Those surgical masks are made to keep a surgeon's bodily fluids from falling into the patient when they cough or sneeze—they're much too loose to keep an airborne pathogen from escaping. (Better than nothing, though!)

I'm sorry. That sucks. I know the feeling, though. My arthritis and fibromyalgia forced me t to stop flying, which meant not only dropping my instrument training, but closing my business, which required me to be able to fly. But that was a long time ago. To be honest, I'm really tired of fighting.
