Today is my late husband's birthday. He would have been 55 today. I know there are much larger issues in the world than my corner of grief, but I wanted to honor his memory today, because his memory is indeed a blessing.

I mean, sure, the EO also shouldn't be able to proceed because it's illegal and beyond the scope of power of the president. It's just chaos with nobody knowing what's actually happening. I based my post on the following from his press secretary:

FYI, this is NOT rescinding the funding freeze. It's just rescinding the memo about the freeze. The funding freeze is still in effect. What a mess.

I’d love to hear people’s theories (even wild ones!) as to why humans feel joy and attraction to things like mountains and waterfalls, from an evolutionary perspective. Because shouldn’t these be things we’d be wired to dislike and avoid??
