We've already surpassed the total # of rides taken in 2024.

On August 21, 2025, Seattle set a new yearly record for bike and scooter share rides: 6.32 million rides. This surpassed 2024's total ridership (6.28 million) with four months left in the year.

At first I thought this was going to be a indictment of the new waterfront highway we built in place of the old waterfront highway, but it's just a puff piece lol.
It's much better than it was but it could have been substantially better then it is if we didn't give 8 lanes of space away to cars.
