Have looked at CR apt south of Madrid many times, as the hi speed rail passes right by it. I always thought it was just an aircraft graveyard. Had NO idea there was meant to be a full fledged airport there!!

Agreed. Dublin needs more intermodal public transport (network connectivity and ticketing/fares) and broader coverage such as the airport.

Seems to me it was sometime during covid, *poof* ☁️ all dining out (takeaway included) went up 50% to 75%. Prices never came back down.
