Yeah, I hear ya. Our main solution so far is to get solar panels on the roof to lower electricity costs.

Gotcha, I follow. I work in SW Colorado Springs, so we looked at houses nearby. Not too keen on wood burning fireplaces myself but this is my first, full winter ❄️ here (moved from Austin in late February) so we'll see if I change my mind 😄
