Listen, I don't think effective altruists are necessarily bad people, but they end up doing a lot of bad/dumb things, and at this point we should all be monitoring the behavior of our billionaires, even the ones who claim to be devoted to doing good.

My 1st introduction to racism was at the old Rich's Dept. Store in Downtown Atlanta 67 yrs. ago. I ran to the "wrong" fountain. A man stared down my mom w/ such hate it scared her & she stopped me. Once she explained why he did that, I thought the concept too stupid for words. Never looked back.
