Going mtb-ing with the dog. Had just got to the road and realised we'd forgotton his lead. So I reversed back and, with bikes on the back, misjudged and car slid down towards ditch.
Bailed out. Kind neighbours with tractors came to see if they could help, but worried

Today's mountainbike 12c ride was accompanied by Théodore, who succesfully passed 3 bikes going the other way without stopping, a runner with a dog, and only blotted his copybook with a quick divert into a field beside the track to say hello to a market gardner he'd met earlier😀

As the bike I rode this morning uses Campag downtube shifters I first fitted to a bike in the late 70s you can guess my answer.😀

Today's 2c mtb ride (avec Théodore) was along the voie verte in chilly mist, but stunning.
His training was fine, learning to run past other bikes and walkers pretty well, but was really tested when a wild boar ran across the track about 100m ahead. He started to chase but came back when called😍🐕
