Yeah I left way before these new atrocities. Twitter died along time ago. Now it’s just Musk’s X.

I admit I don’t totally understand this but scorching earth is great.

Just fucking quit the platform.

I don’t care if you’re a celebrity, politician, institution, journalist, whatever.

Even if he sold it tomorrow and new ownership reverted all his changes and disgorged Grok’s datasets, it’s done. Beyond repair.

Starve the billionaire of your attention.

And even with that evil accomplishment underway, with Elon’s exploitative views about copyright and attribution,

They made it evil and exploitative towards women and children in the most evil and terrible way possible.

_Even if_ the goddam “edit image” button had guardrails on it against non-consensual porn and CSAM (!!!WTF!!!!),

It was still yet another attack on artists by devaluing their work to a resource to be played with by anyone. It was still unethical.

“Why not just go dormant? Park your username so no one else can use it?”

That was my plan, however: I don’t park my username on Truth Social, or Gab, or 4chan.

There was no reason to cling to Musk’s platform any longer after the Nazi salute.

I had two breaking points with XTwitter.

Nov 2024: Musk changing the ToS to allow AI scraping, removing Blocks, etc. Deleted my tweets, went dormant.

Jan 2025: The fucking Nazi salute we all saw. Deleted my account entirely.

Bullshit. It was a party at a bar, and I’m letting the bartender know it’s overrun with Nazis, and he’s inviting them in, so I am fucking _out_.

I like to think it's in part because I told them "this decision will destroy trust in your product and shareholder value, which is important because you very quietly filed for your IPO a few days ago"
