75 years ago today, The first Peanuts comic strip was published. Peppermint Patty was such a brilliant character, and this is my favourite strip featuring her, from 28th December 1984.

Peppermint Patty, a young girl, sits at a table writing on paper, as indeed she is in each picture here. Above her, in joined up writing, we are shown what she is writing:
"What I did on my Christmas vacation. I went outside and looked at the clouds.

They formed beautiful patterns with beautiful colors. I looked at them every morning and every evening.

Which is all I did on my Christmas vacation.
