Why Catherine? A properly functioning moral compass. Sharp as a tack. But you have to want it (not a LOT, but at least a little). I understand.

Color me "Open" right now. But '26 may make '28 meaningless.

Once again, because it apparently needs repetition:

We, are social primates. On our own, dead social primates. Some form of 'socialism' then, should be second nature to us.

Were it not for those of extreme privilege who deliberately confuse it with excesses it is only tangentally related to.
At today's GOP presser, Mike Johnson links Mamdani to Obama, "who made health care unaffordable with his own socialist scheme."

Calling subsidized private health insurance a socialist scheme is a quick way to show everyone that when you decry "socialism," you just mean anything that helps people.

We wish you a merry cheese head, we wish you a merry cheese head, we wish you a merry cheese head, and a Miller64.

And of course, we realize we may have to beat you fuckers in the first playoff game, the way this is shaping up.

That game, however, will NOT be at Lambeau.

The lines are becoming more clear on the right between pro-IL/maga versus pro-RU/America First camps. The Epstein files release pushed by the pro-RU folks (Massie/MTG/Boebert) = they are sharpening their knives. @foreignsubstance.bsky.social

No one should expose such a volatile lie to any flame. There will be an explosion.
The report out on inflation being down from 3% to 2.7% is most likely a lie. Trump has his people fix it so he will look better. He always lies. I know what I am spending and it keeps going up. I don’t lie.

We are pretty shocked about this, because we know that you rate high on 'friendliness' scales and other social markers. We also know that your representatives did this as a defensive support gesture after one person started it.

No excuse, really. Grow TF up.
Finland, WTAF?!? Meet me on camera 2.

The "slanted eyes" gesture is okay. Until you're about a 4th grader. After that, it marks you as socially undeveloped. And if your rich and powerful do it, that's both surprising and disappointing.

And Asians don't have 𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 eyes. But we have shame. You?

Let rich, connected, criminals with rich, connected lawyers, consider their behavior so that they wouldn't 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 a pardon.

This is how you steer your country back to lawfulness and moral character. Not by having a character who hands out pardons like he's rewarding friends & encouraging lawbreaking.
This ought to be the quintessential one-issue vote. And the Senate would be it's target.

Make it clear. "Donald Trump has turned the pardon power into an unlawful farce. It is a relic of an older time, and is no longer necessary.

Run on it. Use it as an electoral cudgel.

Roe v Wade redux.
Common consensus is that a Constitutional Amendment is currently impossible.

Try this one. "The president of the United States shall no longer have any pardon authority."

It's bi-partisan, or it least it should be, because even MAGA isn't stupid enough to know how this can employed later.

Right?

Narrator: She meant "ignorant 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 bastard".
Every day that Donald Trump lives is another day America is sliding down its slippery, stupid, slope.

Not advocating a damn thing here.

Just pointing out that this ignorant bastard could live another 20 years, and that's another ~7,300 days of national disfigurement & disgrace.

I could have waited of course. And who knows. I could have bailed on a 5-bagger that could become a 10-bagger.

But I'm not liking the "lay of the land" right now. Stocks can to into a 70% funk every couple of decades. Bad decisions get made, then.

It's fun not to be harnessed to the screen.
Probably the most harrowing two weeks of my life. I fell, on Friday Dec 5th. It wasn't good, but nothing was broken. A lot of abrasions, and a black eye. Left side took the brunt.

Over that weekend, I decided my fantastic stock buy in 2020 was due for a cull. 100%

Sorry, but I'm a bond lady now.

There is so much wrong with a POTUS declaring a warrior dividend.

It's not just a matter of inflation (this will be inflationary, as most recipients will spend it immediately).

This is a matter of representative government vs the Julio-Claudians,

Good luck American. You'll 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 it.

I was a big fan of "All In The Family".

Sorry if you weren't on the planet yet.

The whole thing is incomprehensible to me.

I kind of see it as a kind of marker that, you know, maybe my mitochondrial strings are short enough now.
