I'm in Wisconsin, but I know overcrowding is a huge issue in most of the country. There are many factors, but the animals always pay the price. I'm just glad I was able to help two fantastic young dogs.

I started getting into mushrooms a couple years ago (observing, not consuming!) and now they are among my favorite residents to encounter in the forest. Check these turkey tails out! The entire stump was covered with them.
