You can increase that security update extension to 3 years. Obviously not a perfect solution but might give you more time before you gotta make the Linux switch

My guess would be taking an existing mod that does the replacement and swapping the sprite files with your own. Looked at one I saw on gamebanana and it seems very doable.

Why do you say Kuon got nerfed? Looking at the patch notes for him only mentions his air buttons immediately after a jump. Did float scaling get hit too?
