15 minute sprint. unpolished.
400 words, inspired by this question.
"You have kept me so famished," The dread lord admonished in that way of his. The one that portended some great and terrible mischief. The hairs stood up on the back of Ichnaea's neck in anticipation as he was crushed deeper into the derelict servant's quarters. Knocked back onto a chaise made more of dust than velvet, he braced for the bite. No thorny bramble or flail's rusty point could compare to it. When Verrot opened his mouth and closed it around the tender swell of flesh, he did so with all the famine of his youth. Years of hunger opened the hinge of his jaw and tenfold of plenty clamped it to an audible hiss beneath him. Ichnaea braced his fists against Verrot's chest and bared his teeth in tandem. The body surrendered big, red beads around the swollen nipple like a bushel of berries being switched in late summer. While the Count was no orchardist, he knew to savor his yields all the same. The man touched to claim, as if always saving for lean times. "So take my plenty," The words were gritted, "and be grateful." Ichnaea twisted a black lock of hair like a horse's rein around his hand three times before giving it a terrible pull. To the smaller man's dismay and secret delight, Verrot only hummed and slowed his gorging. Whatever restrained sounds of pain pealed from Ichnaea's mouth and the pit of his chest were as good as the bite itself. Verrot would covet and store those, too. Later, in the darkest hours of night, they would find themselves inked to parchment in the form of song. Future melodies swarmed Verrot's head as droplets became rivers around a hungry, black tongue. Those rivers met in tributaries of silvery spit loosed from the lord's greedy mouth. There would be a time to mind manners later, to clean that which he had messied, Verrot thought to himself. The idea was quickly subsumed by the growing cacophony of pleasure between his ears and leather clad legs.

Holding 3 thoughts. The need to honour a life well lived cut horrifically short by ICE. The hope that something cuts through to those whose identities seem wedded to supporting the violence. That everyone, regardless of background or circumstances, should be safe from being shot in the street.
