Although in the show’s notes curator Alex Wilson claims emphasis on diversity and broadness of concept in his choices, he has (diversity notwithstanding) hit on a consensus of artistic reaction to the current moment — depiction of a post-legibility era...

Fun and stimulating evening Wednesday the 3rd at Chicago Artist's Coalition for Speed Networking Night. Everybody had a good story to tell. Made it a lot easier to feel optimistic about this city.

The Chicago History Museum has one of the biggest fashion and textile collections in the world, reportedly over fifty thousand items. The exhibition they have up now, "Dressed in History" is a small but fun sampling of the collection’s highlights.
