De Lijnbaan is genoemd naar de touwslagerij die ooit iets verderop zat.

Het ontwerp kwam van het architectenbureau Van den Broek en Bakema. Die van het Stadhuis van Terneuzen enzo. Het is een Rijksmonument. Meer:

A very different cloud for #CloudAppreciationDay - from a not-too-distant snow storm seen along the south coast of #Iceland in Feb 2020.

Some of the craziest clouds I've ever seen. One night over Snæfellsjökull in #Iceland - Sept 2022.

On the horizon just visible is a rather flat-sided volcano. Above is some blue sky with a huge lenticular cloud filling the frame in various shades of pink and grey and white. Below are some more intense pink sunset clouds.

Another cloud shot from October 2023 - this looked like an octopus chasing a dolphin to me 🐙🐬☁️

Clouds after sunset above a dark ridge of pointy mountains. There is a thick bank of cloud right above, then in the pale blue sky above are two features - one resembling an octopus with many tentacles, the other like a dolphin jumping out from the sea of cloud.

A derelict farmhouse on the edge of a fjord up in the Westfjords of #Iceland. Sept 2019.

A derelict farmhouse with just the brick walls remaining sits in an autumnal field with orange/brown grasses. Beyond is a blue fjord and opposite are bard pointy brown mountains. There is blue sky above with some lines of white cloud.

One of the many, many wonderful winding roads in #Iceland. Sept 2019.

A grey road with a thick white line down the middle winds off in big curve into the distance. It can be seen far up the hills still winding! The landscape is autumnal brown grasses with a few little waterfalls visible. Grey layers of cloud above.

A whooper swan family waddles across an autumnal grassland in the Westfjords of #Iceland in Sept 2019.
