The best party I’ve ever experienced in all my years was the doubletree FC party floor in 2008.

Klingons and Eurofurs moved it out to the adjacent rooftop and all the themed parties blended for one giant rooftop scene. Never been topped.

Pretty big blow to a major con feature.

I dreamt that some bully at a campus I was visiting was threatening my life. So I used an Italian cypress tree to fling myself across the river to Canada where I landed by catching another one. Authorities were baffled and I claimed asylum. 🌲🌲

I’m calling it the allegory of the two cypresses.
