there is no fact-based evaluation that does not hold George W. Bush and Barack Obama partly responsible for where we are with Trump. For decades we let these guys extend the power of the executive and no one with power ever pushed back. We are reaping those consequences now.

this is is fascinating. an AI freak buys an AI enabled child toy but his kid keeps turning off the AI and using their imagination, which disturbs and disappoints him

It's astonishing to me that the FT is the only serious newspaper around. If this and all the other Israeli attacks on heritage would have been done by Hezbollah or Iran there would be massive outcry, hashtags and campaigners with bracelets.
