Fair enough. I have a lot of respect for CCs like FPL general who are going the season without Haaland, just because it’s more fun for him personally. Luckily(?) you and I can indulge in horrible picks and advice without any fear of financial or any other meaningful consequences 😂

I do have some sympathy for some of the less self-assured CCs because their income is based on their rank. If they tank, their followers will go elsewhere. Have heard some CCs reference this fear and perhaps it leads to them choosing chalk more than saying their gut instincts sometimes

I don’t begrudge them making a living from FPL, more power to them. I wonder more about the people who send non-paid questions in to certain live streams. Do they realize they are never getting a response? One CC in particular who I won’t name but I like, has never, ever answered a non-paid question

This 100%. Again, most CCs don’t know more than us. They’re entitled to charge for advice, but you’re also entitled to complain if you pay

That said, CCs who take cash to have questions answered on their live streams (especially ones who only answer paid questions) are open to criticism. Polite criticism of course 😀

Generally speaking, I try to avoid criticizing CCs for individual picks. End of the day, most of them don’t know any more than we do about FPL. But yeah for sure, CCs who big up their own ranks and belittle other people’s choices, I don’t criticize, I just don’t waste my time listening to them.

That’s a tough one. I usually offer to pay. If she refuses I’ll offer one more time and if she refuses again, we’ll go half or very rarely, she’ll want to pay. You’re still a young guy but back in the day, men just paid for that first date especially. It was understood and a much simpler time 😂

This exactly. Think there’s a tendency to just look at a fixture against a promoted team after the last few seasons and think points are incoming. Not the case this season, especially away.

I brought them in a month ago looking at the great fixtures they had upcoming. Saw enough in two weeks to get rid of them both. It’s painful but sometimes the best thing you can do when you recognize a mistake is take the loss and correct it as soon as possible

Heard a lot of people saying you can’t drop Bowen before a great fixture like Burnley. Problem is Burnley also saw it as a great fixture for them 😂
